Your Trip to Switzerland

Switzerland is very well connected by public transport to its neighboring countries Germany, France, Italy and Austria.

Please note that for every conference ticket, the Swiss public railway (SBB) train ride within Switzerland to and departing from the ICMRBS 2026 conference is included in the price!

Arrival by Airplane in Switzerland

The three international airports of Zurich, Basel-Mulhouse and Geneva connect Switzerland to all around the world. The nearest airport is Zurich Airport. From there, trains run every hour, via Landquart, directly to Davos.


Getting to Davos by Train

Davos is located in the eastern part of Switzerland in the mountainous canton of Graubünden. While situated in full nature surrounded by the Alps, it is easily reachable by train – the Swiss public transport system is very well developed and known for its excellent service and punctuality. From Zurich airport, hourly trains to Davos, via Landquart, reach Davos after only 2.5 hours of a pleasant train ride, including scenic views of the landscape.

Munich: 4.5 h
Milan: 5 h
Paris: 6.5 h
Frankfurt: 7 h

Getting around in Davos

In Davos, there is a public transport system of buses to get you around town, which is free to use for tourists: the Premium Card is included in every guest booking –  be it hotel, holiday apartment or group accommodation.
