The prestigious ICMRBS Founders’ Medal recognizes exceptional contributions by young scientists to the development and progress of the field of magnetic resonance in biological systems. The 2026 awardee has been selected by the Founders’ Medal Committee and will be presented by Chair Mei Hong at the opening ceremony of the 31st ICMRBS meeting in Davos, Switzerland, on August 23, 2026. The awardee will receive a medal and U.S. $3,000 and will present a lecture at the conference.

Travel Awards of the Swiss National Science Foundation
The Swiss National Science Foundation sponsors Travel Awards of 750 CHF for each of 12 selected PhD students and postdocs. The awards can be spent on travel costs and partial accommodation, up to the limit of 750 CHF per awardee. The awardees were selected by the international scientific committee, based on scientific quality of the submitted abstract, and each awardee will give an oral presentation at the conference. The awards were open to PhD students and postdocs worldwide except students from Switzerland. 8 PhD students and 4 postdocs were selected.
