Ashok Sekhar is an Associate Professor at the Indian Institute of Science Bangalore. The focus of his research group is to understand the relationships that exist between biomolecular structure, dynamics, function and evolution using NMR spectroscopy as the primary investigative tool. His group studies a variety of systems where dynamics is relevant for function, such as intrinsically disordered and metamorphic proteins, enzymes, lectins, glycans and complex multiprotein interaction networks such as the circadian clock.
